Street Fighter IV ships 2 Million copies

Capcom are no doubt smiling as Street Fighter IV has shipped 2 Million copies in it’s first few days after release. Demand for the title has been extremely high with it completely selling out in key regions such as Japan and the US.

An interesting fact is that Capcom has sold “over 500,000 arcade machines and 27 million console games” since the franchise was born in 1987. I wonder if in 20 years time Capcom are going to re-release a refreshed special edition of Street Fight IV?
