Gamespot reports that Ubisoft is looking to bring Assassins Creed and Tom Clancy games to film. We already know that a Brukheimer backed Prince of Persia movie is in post production starring Jack Gyllenhaal. Ubisoft has also announced that they are developing the game adaptation of James Cameron’s movie – Avatar simultaneously alongside the film.

With all these movies being made from games and games being made from movies it becomes difficult to remember which is the original and which is the remake. We would love to see the movie version of Assassins Creed but please, don’t cast Keanu Reeves as the Altier.

I would love to see Assassins Creed made into a movie, with all the same attention paid to details just like in the game. If it is to be made into a movie please give it the same care as the game. Don’t mess it up and turn it into a piece of junk like some video games that are made into films.’ The only person that I can think of at this time to portray Altair is Christian Bale. He seems to have the cold, calculating personality needed to portray Altair. I agree with the person that said no Keanu Reeves.

  2. I think Antonio Banderas should play Altair i think his accent would already make it authentic.
