Batman meets the rather scary looking Bane

Every now and then we come across an enemy of the Dark Night that is a genuinely scary character and this is one of those times. Bane was imprisoned since birth to serve his father sentence and was raised in the cold, hardened Santa Prisca prison. His only solace was smuggled books and meditation which in the end, gave him the iron-forged will to survive military experiments with the steroid Venom where all others had died.

In the trailer above we see Batman come face to face with this now fierce adversary after what looks like a storied over dose as a consequence of The Jokers tampering.
