InFamous will arrive early

We are used to hearing about games being delayed but news that Sucker Punch’s electrifying game InFamous will arrive to shelves earlier than originally announced did catch us off guard.

 Asad Qizilbash of Sucker Punch announced on the Playstaion.Blog that the InFamous release date has been pushed forward to May 26 and there are some rather nifty goodies for those that pre-order the game:

An exclusive ‘Gigawatt Blades’ Super Power: The Gigawatt Blades supercharges Cole’s arm into an instrument of destruction unmatched by any other melee weapon in game. Although very powerful, you’ll still have to use this weapon wisely, as it takes a considerable drain on your powers.

Limited-edition inFamous costume for Home Avatar - Look like one of the REAPER gang members.

Early access to the official Game Demo. Be one of the first to play inFamous on May 7th.

Will still have no confirmation of when InFamous will be hitting the shores of South Africa or the UK.
