When gaming on PC accuracy is important, which is something that Microsoft’s new SideWinder mouse is not going to have a problem with, spotting a 2000dpi laser-tracking engine with on the fly dpi switching between high, medium and low levels of sensitivity.

Lefty gamers will be happy to hear that this eight button gaming mouse is the first ambidextrous SideWinder that offers equal performance for either hand, we’ve yet to hear it if will actually work for foot control but we’re guessing – if you are ambidextrous there is no reason why it shouldn’t.

The new Microsoft SideWinder X3 mouse will retail in South Africa for R599 and will be available country wide from May 2009. You should be able to get this from Kalahari or Take2 check their sites closer to the release date for more info.
