Game Diary 27 May – A round up of what the CuriousOnion team has been playing

Delon

Bionic Commando – I went into this game with high expectations for epic cinematics and heart pounding swings. I got the latter and was left quite disappointed in the former. Grin, have done an exceedingly fine job in getting the swing mechanic right but the game lacks somewhat in most other areas.

Riddick – I’m still making my way through this dark and at times, hair rising game. Vin Diesel has done an exceptional job at voicing Riddick and the development teams at Starbreez and Tigon studios have nailed the sneak aspect of the game.

Red Faction Guerrilla - I spent most of Saturday playing this at the Red Faction Gamers Day in London and I thoroughly enjoyed it looking forward to the full game coming soon, its a real shame they still haven’t fixed the issues with the Multiplayer Demo because this game is loads of fun.

Infamous Demo - Loving this game and very much looking forward to playing the real thing, I’ll probably be rubbish at it LOL but I’ll give it a good go. I really like the movement in this game, it feels very free and I like games where you are can do what you want with few constraints… looking forward to being EVIL.

LittleBigPlanet - I still love this game! It just has something about it that makes it so fun! I am trying to ace all the levels so I can get my nice Gold trophy, but it’s not going very well!

inFamous Demo -I have played this a few times this week and I have to say I love it. It’s just so much fun gliding through the air and then attacking your enemy with electricity – Wow!

Red Faction Guerrilla - Last Saturday I spent all day playing Red Faction Guerilla Multiplayer down in SCEE London HQ at the THQ Gamers day , which by the way is a awesome game and all I can say is Rhino pack FTW!

SOCOM: Confrontation - As always SOCOM has taken a fair bit of my gaming time the past week but I can forsee it taking the backseat for awhile as now (at this very moment of typing this) Im going to be playing inFamous a fair bit
